From the entire security team, we would like to welcome and thank you for wanting to know more about our security program. At A.C.S.T. we believe that security is a collaborative effort and always depend on your support and cooperation.

Campus Security
A.C.S.T. is monitored 24 hours a day/ 7 days per week. Our security team is always on hand to ensure our campus remains safe and secure.

Residential Security
When it comes to residential security your best line of defense is to familiarize yourself with your neighborhood and reach out to your neighbors. Generally, Tunisians are very friendly and helpful. We encourage you to reach out to your neighbors and study the day to day activities that take place in your neighborhood.

Remember these (3) basic guidelines:
  • -Familiarize yourself with your neighborhood, learn the ins and outs of your neighborhood...
  • -Familiarize yourself with your residence, go through some realistic "what if?" scenarios...
  • -Take care of the little things, make sure you keep us updated with any security issue...

Personal Security (Situational Awareness)
When it comes to personal safety your best tool is Situational Awareness (SA).
-Situational Awareness involves being aware of what is happening around you so that you can better assess your security posture. It entails both learning the local culture and paying close attention to your surroundings so that you can make quick and effective adjustments.

  • There have been a number of incidents where female teachers on their morning/evening jog have been harassed by groups of young men. To avoid potential hassles, dress conservatively and always run with others. Packs of wild dogs can also pose a threat to joggers, although in general they tend to be timid of people.
